ENGI Auspicious NOREN Curtain
The Japanese-derived design gives the room a Japanese appearance. The Hiragana “と-To” is for a new door “To” for the role of a partition of space called noren. Also, as a conjunction, it is meant to bring good luck. The auspicious “shimenawa” is a rope and represents the place of God. It creates a modern atmosphere when displayed on a Shinto altar, in an entryway, or in an alcove as a charm against evil.
